INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

At my core I am forever a student. I have studied the processes of Danish cabinet makers and American Sculptors, the design ideation of MD’s and MSE’s, and through all of this there has been one continuity, each searches to draw on what exists to create what is next. This is how I have come to make. In defining my own creative processes I continually look to interrogative design, using making as a means of ideation, research, and discovery. Interrogative design is the defining medium of my practice. In congruence with my interests in mechanical engineering and material studies I aim to bring all of these together in my study of sculpture, industrial design, manufacturing, interface, and functionalism in the contemporary diaspora.
